ScaleTools realises projects for well-known customers around the world. Currently they’re carrying out a large business intelligence project for a well-known international logistics company. Cooperations and Innovation Projects

To be on the forefront of technological innovation, ScaleTools participated in several Research & Development Projects during the last years. ScaleTools experience in programming and integration made them to core partner in each project.

The SCI-BUS project aims to ease the life of e-Scientists by creating a new science gateway customisation methodology based on the generic-purpose gUSE/WS-PGRADE portal family. The customised science gateways will enable scientists to focus on their work and exploit resources of main Distributed Computing Infrastructures (DCIs) without the need to deal with the underlying infrastructures’ details.

The cloudSME project developed a cloud-based, one-stop-shop solution providing a scalable platform for small or larger scale simulations and enables the wider take-up of simulation technologies in manufacturing and engineering SMEs. The CloudSME Simulation Platform supported end user SME’s to utilise customized simulation applications in the form of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based provision. Moreover, simulation software service providers and consulting companies have access to a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution that enables them to quickly assemble customized simulation solutions in the cloud for their clients.
ScaleTools is also partner in the spin-off company cloudSME UG out of the project.
